We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, add a property, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, payment information processed by Stripe, and property details you enter.

We automatically collect certain information when you use our service, including log data, device information, and usage analytics (QR scans, screen sessions) to help you understand guest engagement.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process transactions and send related information
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. Guest Data

GuestView OS processes reservation data you import via iCal sync (guest names, check-in and check-out dates). This data is used solely to power the welcome screen and guidebook experience. We do not sell or share guest data with third parties.

Guest names displayed on TV screens and in the guidebook are derived from the calendar data you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate rights to use this data within your hosting operations.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Reservation data is retained for 12 months after checkout. Analytics data (QR scans, screen sessions) is retained for 24 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and access controls. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and we never store raw card data.
